Your Daily Fill is an independent game development group based in the US. We are focused on delivering fun, fully featured Action Sports games appealing to casual and core audiences. Currently, consisting of three full time developers.
Andy, John, and Todd met one another while working together at Neversoft Entertainment (RIP). At Neversoft, the team worked together on several games for the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series and the Guitar Hero series. They departed the former Activision studio at different time periods while staying in touch throughout the years as many Neversoft developers have, due to the family-like, work hard, play hard culture prevalent at Neversoft.
In 2016, the trio ignited the idea of creating a sequel to Epic Skater as an independent mobile game developer, opting to self-publish. Epic Skater 2 would become a more realized, fully featured game. “It’s the game we wanted to make the first time around.” said Andy Gentile, “While our budget hasn’t changed, we’re able to build on the success of Epic Skater and utilize feedback from our amazing community of players to deliver a fun, free-to-play mobile skateboarding game that players will enjoy for months or years to come.”
Skateboarding games have been around for decades and have witnessed periods of growth and decline. We loved working on the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series back then and are excited to deliver that element of addictive gameplay, evolved for the mobile generation of casual and core players.
Epic Skater launched worldwide August 2014 on iOS & Android. The endless runner was featured prominently in app stores, leading to over 2.2 Million installs in the first 2 weeks of release. Epic Skater has over 11 Million installs and maintains an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars amongst users, indicating universal praise.
Development of Epic Skater 2 began in August 2016. The team rebuilt the game from the ground up, placing substantial effort into the new Career gameplay mode, an all-new modular Endless mode, player mechanics, game progression and mobile free-to-play components, along with prominent community-driven feature requests. Epic Skater 2 is now available on the App Store and Google Play and is free-to-play worldwide.
After releasing Epic Skater 2 on mobile the team immediately began developing the game for the Steam platform. Epic Skater 2 for Steam launched on Steam Early Access on July 24, 2018, released on November 9, 2018. The developers have removed advertising, in-app purchases, and streamlined the gameplay to create a premium platform experience.
